Chefs Tips - Chocolate Run Outs
Try piping the outline in one colour of chocolate and filling in the middle with another. The effect can be dramatic.
Tape a piece of greaseproof paper to a baking sheet or flat board. Draw around a shaped biscuit cutter on to the paper several times. Secure a piece of non-stick baking paper over the top.
Pipe over the outline of your design in a continuous thread.
Cut the end off the other bag, making the hole slightly wider than before, and pipe the chocolate to fill in the outline so it looks slightly rounded. Leave the shapes to set in a cool place, then carefully lift them off the non-stick baking paper with a palette knife.
